Discover Stunning Views at the Sky Bar

To experience the most breathtaking views in Amber Cove, don't miss the chance to visit the Sky Bar. Positioned on a hill, it offers a panoramic view of the port, with its iconic large white-roofed building easily visible from various locations. Head over to savor a tropical drink and relax in this unique spot while your ship is docked.

Don't Forget Your Towel from the Ship

Are you planning a day by the pool? Remember to pack a beach towel from the ship. Cruise ships usually offer towels to guests, conveniently located near the pool area. These towels can be taken ashore, as port areas usually do not provide towel services. If you happen to forget your towel, be ready to air dry.

Choose between Early or Late Pool Time

The pool area is a popular spot at Amber Cove. Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., it can get crowded, especially with multiple large ships in port. It's best to arrive early to secure a good spot if there are other ships at the port. On the other hand, visiting later in the afternoon often means fewer people, as many passengers return to the ship even though the all-aboard time is usually in the evening.

Tips for booking third-party excursions:

Booking third-party excursions can be a great way to save money and enjoy a more authentic experience, but there are a few things you need to consider when booking:

  • Look for a "Back-to-Ship Guarantee".
  • Read the cancellation policy carefully and make sure you will be refunded if the ship does not make it to that port for some reason.
  • Make sure you understand where to meet & when, and how to get there.
  • Double-check to make sure the tour times work with your time in port.

We recommend booking through specific suppliers we work with regularly, as all of their options are purposefully

made to fit within the timeframe of your cruise ships schedule, that specific day in port. Please let your LV Travel

Co Designer know if you are interested in seeing these options, and they will send over their specific link.
